We are Dave and Jacky Mitchell and we live in the south-east of England with our springers. Dave has been involved in the breed for more than thirty years. He has bred and owned three champions under the Heulyn affix, judges at Championship level and has also succeeded in training dogs in the field to full champion status. Jacky has been involved for twelve years under the Summerstone affix and has made a start on the judging ladder.In 2005, we started afresh together, with a new affix, a different approach and some exciting ideas for the future. We have looked further afield for inspiration and have been thrilled that our first dog from Sweden has achieved Champion status in four different countries.Our aim is to breed English Springers of show quality with a focus on good health and temperament. We will try to retain the breed’s working ability where possible and strive to produce happy, healthy springers that are a pleasure to own.We hope you enjoy your visit to our site and look forward to hearing from you.
